Looks like Rat Brinkley is seeing his kissy-poo portrait of Kerry go down in flames...

Maybe this guy knows about the medals.
For a blowhard that brags his a$$ off every chance he gets about being in VN, you'd think Jf'nK would be hell bent to let everyone know how he came by those medals...hmmmmmmmm?

Guys, do not go down this road. This is not a winning path to walk. This is not where the focus groups say Bush is strongest. Kerry has been in many political campaigns and a lot of opposition research has already been done on him. There is no throwable dirt of this kind out there or it would already have been thrown.
He's a liberal extremist interested in raising taxes and weak on defending the country from terror. That is where there is hay to be made.

Thanks for your service, Mr. Gardner, but watch your six. Too late, I think. I heard Mr. Gardner was fired from his job just hours after making his statement.

Kerry should release his military records. Why did he only serve 4 months? And what is the truth about his summary executions of wounded enemy and his killings of civilians? Were his rampages documented? Release the records now.

In my humble opinion, anyone that received 3 purple hearts and never even missed one full duty day, is full of it.
Sounds as if this guy is one that couldn't be bought to me. I am hesitant to accuse the other members of the crew of selling out, but i am also hesitant to discount this guy's version either.

John Kerry: A Navy Dove Runs for Congress
By SAMUEL Z. GOLDHABER
Crimson Staff Writer
One time Kerry was ordered to destroy a Viet Cong village but disobeyed orders and suggested that the Navy Command simply send in a Psychological Warfare team to be friend the villagers with food, hospital supplies, and better educational facilities.

Why did he only serve 4 months?...I heard a Vietnam Vet Against Kerry on Hannity's radio show. The guy said there is a way to get Purple Hearts without getting badly hurt, and after you get a certain number you are honorably discharged. He implied that is what Kerry did.

In the shape this report is in right now, it only helps Kerry. We either have to come up with official after action reports, Kerry's Fitness Reports, or other factual stuff ... or drop it.
From a tactical point of view, Kerry's pre-emptive strike on GWB's record was diabolically clever. Concentrate on what Kerry did after he returned from VietNam, and let the war record straighten itself out.
Kerry is no fool. JFK's war record was one of carelessness, jeopardy of security, and ineptitude. So what. He is a hero.
Kerry has, rather brilliantly and shabbily, successfully staked out the same line of country.

"Kerry ran from the enemy".
Weird, he seems to be running to Osama bin Laden just fine these days (sarcasm?).

Kerry's awards are fake. He never won any of them and made them up after the war. He got out of Nam after his summer vacation because of some other reason. Proof of this is found in the fact that he has refused to release his military records, the very records he brags about.
Why does he refuse? Because they would prove that he is and has been lying about his service in Nam. Of course, if he ever does release records, they will probably look like one of an ilegal Mexican alien's fake IDs.
Why are his records not already part of the public record? Is is that the Mass. voters don't care that Kerry is lying because they expect that of a dem?

Let the facts come out. There are no facts, only opinions. Even whatever might be in his service record is opinion. There will be spin both ways. People will believe what they want to believe.
