If you find his e-mail address, let me know.

I've got to get dinner ready for some people coming over but will check in when they leave, which will be late.

BUT, I will e-mail him as well, promise. Thanks for the research.

I used to really like Bush and some of my best friends are Republicans, but, darn it, Kerry is truly charismatic. I think I'll likely vote for him, well, either Kerry or Bo Gritz (or however you spell his name). I'll campaign for him (them) in Montana and Minnesota and Alabama and Puerto Rico and Micronesia...yaaahhhhhh!!!!!!

I don't know about you, but this is one military family (Navy - 25 years) that is voting for BUSH!

(If you aren't liberal when you're young, you haven't got a heart. If you aren't conservative when you're older, you haven't got a brain.)

Mr. William Douglas used a campaign worker for Wesley Clark to base this Military is abandoning Bush hit piece!

Similar MO as using families from Peaceful Tomorrows to object to a Bush campaign advertisment -- of course, more effective if the political connections are not reported.

Propaganda.

The lamestream media digs up a Clinton supporter who wears a vet hat and projects his anti-Bush feelings onto all other vets.

File this in the shitcan.

I never served but I have 3 sons who are serving and if Kerry gets elected I will do all I can to convince them to change careers.

My money says your sons are level headed, and will make appropriate decisions. It's often better service to hang in there than it is to quit.

Here's some facts:

In 1997, the Clinton administration and Republican congressional leaders reached a balanced budget agreement. As part of that accord, both sides agreed that military spending would rise modestly -- an increase less than the anticipated rate of inflation. The agreement provided for an increase in outlays from $264 billion in fiscal 1998 to $272 billion in 2002, with a sharp jump in 2003 to $289 billion.

Analysis of New FY 2004 Military Budget

$399.1 billion - Military budget request for FY 2004 (Budget Authority)

$70.1 billion increase from FY 2001

$16.9 billion increase from FY 2003

Note: These figures do not include the cost of a supplemental appropriations request expected to be presented to Congress for fiscal year 2003 to cover the war on terrorism and the cost of the likely war against Iraq. The Pentagon estimates that it needs more than $13 billion *without* including the costs of the war.

I'm active duty.

Yes, there are those in the military who don't like President Bush, but they're not in the military to serve the country. They want college money. I can safely say 9 out of every 10 I work with adore our current president and the status he has brought back to the profession. There is something in his eyes when he's around servicemembers that let them know he truly cares.

I am really sick of this.

It's an age-old battle between good and evil. It's just the human condition.

I loathe the liberals myself. I wish they'd practice tolerance and honesty.

Dog - there was some good information in this article about veterans and how Bush has helped them. Don't be fooled by the title.

Nahh. This guy is bogus. Or he's a single-issue idiot. Fpr some reason the old fart vets think Bush is the worst thing to hapen to vets since the A-bomb tests at Bikini Atoll.

NO vet in their right mind wants John Effin Kerry as Commander in Chief.

Of course- there are vets who are not in their right minds.

Just not most of us.

I hope.
