March 13, 2004 -- The Wall Street Journal last fall reported the details of Democratic strategy memos on how to derail Bush administration judicial nominations. An investigation disclosed that GOP staffers had obtained the documents from computers shared with Democrats on the Judiciary Committee. But a 65-page report released by the Senate's sergeant-at-arms confirmed what the Republicans had said all along: They didn't hack into any computers or steal any documents.

I agree that the behavior of the Senate Democrats cries out for a full investigation, but for that to happen, Senate Republicans would have to grow spines where they currently have strands of mushy, overcooked spaghetti, and at the rate they're going, that will probably take at least 50 million years of evolution.

Indeed.

It appears as though Republicans are more afraid of the Beltway press corps and the New York Times than the people who elected them.

They should finally get it through their thick skulls that this is a representative democracy. We voted for them to do a job, and what they do is legtimate because it is the will of the people.

Well at least someone in the "MEDIA" has not forgotten what the real issue was about "free" access allowed by the liars and crooks of that liberal party in the unholy halls of the Senate.

...... the Democrats' technical staff neglected to create a firewall, so files stored on the network server weren't protected from other users' viewing. And despite warnings to protect their sensitive material, the Democrats failed to correct the glitch.

Shows why they've earned the moniker, "Dumbocrats."
