Don't bother with Radio Shack, they don't live up to their namesake any more. You would be lucky to find a shortwave reciever there. If you would like, I can direct you to some reputable Internet stores that sell SW radios.

Sure, if you ever have a minute, I'd love to know where to get something decent in the SW area.
I know you're busy with your sister, and I sure hope things are working out, but whenever you have time, that would be great.
