"the release of a new message from Osama bin Laden. We suspect that the message will be consistent with previous tapes; it will be congratulatory in nature but very vague, speaking to the success of the attack in Spain only in generalities."
"All indications continue to suggest that Osama bin Laden is NOT free to record new messages - and that his "capture" will soon be announced - with the notification of his death from ill health."
Either I'm confused or the post itself is confusing.
The first quote mentions a soon to be released new message from Osama (I imagine this will be in the form of a tape, hence a recorded voice message). While the second quote mentions that Osama "is NOT free to record new messages"
Which one is it, is he free to record or not?
Also, if he has been captured, was he captured alive and subsequently died, or was he captured dead?
(maybe I've been reading too much, but the above two quotes regarding a new message from Osama are contradictory).

I took it to mean that the tapes are being cut together from old Bin Laden material when there is a need for a new tape to be released.
