GREEK PLANE IN BOMB ALERT
From correspondents in Athens
March 22, 2004
A BOMB alert on board an Olympic Airlines passenger plane heading for Johannesburg overnight forced it to turn back to Greece, the ANA Athens press agency reported Sunday.
The aircraft which was carrying 138 passengers and 12 crew was flying over the Greek island of Crete when a private television station received a warning that a bomb was on board, it said.
The aeroplane returned to the international airport at the Greek capital where a search failed to locate a bomb.

Also, has anyone besides me who has flown lately noticed that it doesn't seem like there is much cleanup or inspection between domestic flights? That's a window of opportunity I'd like to see closed. I know they want to make timely flights, but I'd rather be late than be on a plane that some departing passenger left a surprise on.
