So if a young family has a nurse and a computer geek, the kids could be up a creek without a parent!

I understand the need to have this in place right now, but if it does happen there will be an immediate grassroots need in every community.

Drafts are a funny topic.

Believe it or not, you can be drafted up to age 45 for a specialized draft of professionals with needed skills in the US military. But the US Military isnt the only branch that can draft you into military service.

Some states can also draft you into the authorized state militia in case of emergency, and make you available for duty for a period of up to 2 months in either the State Defense Force ( formed under 32USC109) or the state unorganized militia or state naval militia.

Ifa super bad catastrophic disaster were to occur, I wonder how many professionals would be on tap at both levels?
