WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.

"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

I was thinking about this plauge stuff. And I was thinking that it would be pretty stupid to release this stuff because before we even knew abou it...It would be in every country in the world...and including the middle east. This would happen via Air travel mostly. So that did not make sense. Then I started thinking about 911. Imagine if some planes started crashing and some nukes went off in the US. What is the first thing the US would do...Stop air travel and seal the borders(Which they suddenly would have the means to do). They could use that as a time to release biologicals. We would know about it before we reopened things. And even if we still wanted to re-open air travel...No other country would want us anywhere near them. In effect...there borders would be sealed to us because they would not want the Plauge or whatever to come into there country. Just a thought.

I hate to bring up Daleel since I know most of what he says can't be taken seriously since none of his predictions ever panned out (thankfully). But remember in one of his recent posts where he talked about the points in a time line and he mentioned that it was from a certain date up until the election. We all kind of joked about it since he extended his original time lien until the election. Do you have any idea where that post was? I'm going to look in Thread 4. I just want to re-read it

Didn't they already brag some time ago that "the dance of death had begun" and it would take us some time to realize that the bios were already here?

Didn't several of their long religionofpeace rants say that they had weighed the pros and cons of what they had decided to do, and even though they recognized that there was the great potential for damaging future generations, the ends justified the means.

In a tape aired by Al Jazeera television, Zawahri said: "Bush, strengthen your defenses and your security measures for the Muslim nation which sent you the legion of New York and Washington has determined to send you legion after legion seeking death and paradise."

Dr.Zawahri may god protect him said ( Bush, strengthen your defenses) he directed the words spicificly to (bush).

as you all know eelections are coming and (bush) might loose!! and Dr.Zawahri will not take chances that bush might loose! coz then the warning will be usless coz bush will be out of the picture!!

if the attack is coming after the elections Dr.Zawahri wouldnt have said (bush) he would have said America (under any presedent)!!

so the attack time frame is from now untill the coming elections!!!!! got the picture!!!

BEIJING - China and France will hold rare joint naval exercises off the mainland's eastern coast today, just four days before Beijing's rival, Taiwan, holds a presidential election.

China's official Xinhua news agency made no link between the exercises off Qingdao - about 1,250km from Taiwan's northernmost point - and the election.



But the show of military strength signalled China's desire to isolate the self-governing island before the vote and its first-ever referendum, which Beijing views as a provocative step towards independence.

'It's the biggest in scale and the most substantial in content of an exercise between the Chinese navy and a foreign navy,' Xinhua said yesterday, quoting Ju Xinchun, the captain of the destroyer Harbin.

The drills will be China's first to be conducted on the high seas with a major Western power.

In today's exercises, a French anti-submarine destroyer and a corvette-class warship will take part beside a Chinese destroyer, a supply vessel and a ship with a helicopter landing pad.

Hong Kong's Sing Tao Daily reported that China has moved heavy military equipment into the south-western province of Fujian, which faces Taiwan.

In Taiwan, news reports said the authorities have quietly deployed mobile anti-aircraft missile systems in Taipei as police stepped up security ahead of the island's presidential polls. -- Reuters, AFP
