It's not a rate issue, it's an abortion enabling thing. Here in CA, we tax payers have to pay for these murders.

Drat - Connecticut has an A rating w. only 25 % of the counties not having abortion providers. Actually, I'm really surprised that it's not an A+ and we only have 6 counties in the whole state.
I have to confess that I was at one time pro-abortion, but when I was personally faced w/ the situation, I found I couldn't do it. And not a day goes by when I don't thank God that He stopped me from killing my wonderful, bright, funny, 23 year old son. I really do believe that if I had had the abortion that the guilt would have eventually driven me to suicide. And I look at my four sons & I can't imagine how my life has more value or meaning than theirs.

I agree. I'm a Jew and I think that abortion in the US since 1973 constitutes a far worse catastrophe than the Holocaust. (Admittedly, I'm in the minority in thinking that the Holocaust isn't the worst thing that could possibly ever happen to anyone anytime in the history of the universe.)
This IS the slavery issue of our day, and the word we should adopt is "abolition".

Idaho gets an F,
It sure wasn't that easy to get such a good grade with so many RINOS.

My state got a D+ but look at this cool factoid:
Colorado has not repealed its pre-Roe abortion law, which is unconstitutional and therefore unenforceable. The law provides that a woman may not obtain an abortion unless it is authorized unanimously by a hospital board of three physicians that certifies in writing one of the following: (1) continuation of the pregnancy is likely to result in the womans death or the serious permanent impairment of her physical or mental health; (2) the woman is likely to deliver a child with grave and permanent physical deformity or mental retardation; or (3) the pregnancy resulted from sexual assault or incest, a district attorney certifies in writing that there is probable cause to believe the assault or incest occurred, and less than 16 weeks of gestation have passed.
Any person who intentionally performs an unauthorized abortion is guilty of a felony.

Texas got a D. How do we get an F? BTW, wanna talk about a bunch of baby killers that are on speed, check out this blurb:"Texas allows certain individuals or entities to refuse to provide abortion services under most circumstances." Can you believe that? Those d*mned Texans are so anti-choice they won't even force doctors to do abortions!

How about this one:
Did you know that a Kentucky Ob/Gyn who refuses to prescribe emergency contraception was made a key advisor to the Bush administration on reproductive health drugs? Emergency contraception? Now THAT's a hot date!

I just don't understand why it's so hard for some people. My wife and I have successfully used contraceptives for more than 13 years. When we wanted to have a child we did, then went back to contraceptives afterward.
It really is that simple.

The parallels to slavery are striking: the dehumanization (Dred Scot parallel) and the idea of one person having sovereign control over another, though all men be created equal, even the appeals to evolutionary development, incl. the debunked recapitulation theory in the case of the unborn, and the racist social Darwinism that held that the blacks were the bottommost hominids on the evolutionary ladder. Similar views about the Jews also fueled Hitler, a committed evolutionist.
Abortion does not discriminate by "race" but rather by age. Its ironic that blacks have the highest rate of abortions, and Margie Sanger was profoundly racist - which lends additional significance to usage of the term "abolition" with respect to abortion.
