Only about three or four students joined the Pro-Lifers at the protest. Definitely have never done this before, never been mocked for praying the rosary, and never been told to get off my college campus (tried to point out that I went there, that only occasioned more loud cheering, really sick). So many Pro-Death people, really sad. God Bless

Wilmette resident arrested during protest

by Scott Gordon
March 11, 2004

Scott Klocksin, 20, of Wilmette, who came to the demonstration as a member of the Revolutionary Communist Youth Brigade, was arrested near the end of the demonstration and issued a ticket by Evanston police after the groups of protesters confronted each other near the Arch.

Klocksin said that when the anti-abortion demonstrator moved toward the Arch to take pictures, the abortion rights groups followed them. The man taking the pictures deliberately backed up into a large abortion rights banner and tore it in half in the process, Klocksin said.

"After that, I did proceed to disrupt his ability to take pictures" by holding up a sign in front of the man's camera lens, he said. While he was doing this, officers approached him, asked him for an ID and arrested him.

Klocksin believes the police targeted him and that his arrest was unjust.

"I don't think that this arrest was made in the interest of protecting free speech or peaceable assembly or the peace on the streets at that time," he said. "There was no violence or threat of violence coming from either side."

Police ticketed Klocksin for blocking the sidewalk, said Deputy Chief Michael Perry of Evanston Police Department. Klocksin has the option of paying a $75 fine or attending a hearing at the Civic Center on April 6. He says he plans to go to the hearing and bring supporters.

You have brought up a point that I had previously addressed about terminology. I don't give a darn if I upset someone or not, but I refuse to use the term 'pro-choice' any longer. It is 'Pro-Death', no ifs, ands, or buts.

Good job.

Events such as this are also good training. I see the leftists acted as their usual pig selves.
