Stockholm, Sweden (LifeNews.com) -- Another teenager has died as a result of taking the dangerous RU 486 abortion drug, this time in Sweden. Just months after California teenager Holly Patterson died following taking the abortion pill, an 18 year-old Swedish girl has bled to death after receiving the drug at a local hospital.
The girl, from western Sweden, was seven weeks pregnant at the time, and was given the abortion drug, which is called Mifegyne in the Scandinavian country.
Unlike in the case of Holly Patterson, the Swedish girl was kept at the facility for eight hours for observation to make sure no excessive bleeding occurred. Patterson was given the abortion drug by a Planned Parenthood facility to take at home with no medical supervision.
Two days later, a nurse attempted to check up on the teenager but could not reach her. Six days later, authorities discovered the girl at home dead. There is no word on whether the teen lived by herself or with anyone else.
A local medical examiner established the cause of death as extreme loss of blood related to the abortion.
Johan Lundell, of the Swedish pro-life group JA till Livet, told LifeNews.com that the death occurred in late 2003 and is only being reported now.
According to the French Press Agency, authorities say all of the country's rules were followed in the case -- which prompts pro-life advocates to point to the inherent dangers associated with the abortion pill.

The authorities will drag their feet pulling this drug from the market becuase of the "PC" considerations. If it was anything else, it would probably have already been yanked.

JUDICIAL WATCH BEGINS WAR AGAINST RU-486 ABORTION PILL President-elect George W. Bush was asked what he would do about the RU-486 pill. He claimed he would be powerless to act since he would not control the FDA.
A Citizen Petition was filed on August 20, 2002 with the FDA describing the threat to women's health from the abortion drug Mifeprex (commonly referred to as RU-486 or mifepristone). The petition also outlined numerous procedural violations that occurred when FDA considered the drug for approval. The Citizen Petition asks the Commissioner of FDA to halt all distribution and marketing of the drug.

The FDA approval process is intended to ensure that drugs, commercially marketed in the United States, are safe and effective for their intended uses. Violations of the process have, in the recent past, resulted in the great sickness and death for some medical patients using other drugs approved by FDA - and then withdrawn from the market. (For background, The Los Angeles Times has discussed this important topic at great length in December 2000 in a series of stories. )
On April 17, 2002, the FDA released a Letter to Health Care Providers from the manufacturer and posted a webpage of questions and answers related to the drug. These actions were prompted by numerous serious adverse events that occurred from the use of the Mifeprex abortion regimen.
If you have suffered adverse events from the use of Mifeprex, you are not alone - but please make sure that the FDA knows about it. Either your doctor or you can report this occurrence directly to the FDA.
The Petitioners comprise doctors and women concerned about the health and safety of women - here are links to their websites:

Ever since Roe v. Wade, every law and every principle of justice or common sense has been bent and broken to ensure that NO LIMITS WHATEVER are put on abortion.
Any other drug as dangerous as this would be instantly taken off the market. In fact it would never have been put on, since the side effects were already there and well known.
The evils of abortion are bad enough. Tens of millions of innocent human beings have been murdered in our country alone. But the evil side effects are everywhere, throughout our society, perverting everything from our public schools to our lawcourts.

RU486 isn't the morning-after pill. The morning-after is to be used just that way, and to my understanding is a large dose birth control pill to prevent the egg from being hosted by the uterus. If I'm wrong, someone please straighten me out. RU486 is a human pesticide- obviously! Neither is "right" or "healthy" or "simple" or "a solution".

IT claimed two alive human beings this time, and when it kills the mother that is always the case. Usually IT only kills one alive human being. Whne will humanity awaken to the truth that willfully killing fellow human beings innocent of any wrong is always homicide and always murder. Abortionists are protected serial killers. Two guesses which political party in the USA champions this protection and homicide mayhem.
