The RNC is always desperate to hook up with star power any way they can, even if the connection is thin. I note they tried to get Oprah Winfrey to tour with Bush campaign, because the RNC would embrace any star even politically
moderate. Oprah wouldn't go, but I note that her recent interview with Condaleeza Rice could not have been more favorable.
