Um... we were at peace the 1st time the Towers were bombed. And when those 2 embassies were destroyed. And when the Cole was attacked. And when the Towers finally were brought down.

So peace had a chance. And Islamic terrorists wanted no part of it.

I guess it's better to just sit around and wait to get blown up, or kidnapped and decapitated like Dan Pearl, than take action against those who depserately want to kill you.
