According to the author, GenX started in the late '50's, the peak was 1961.

Really? I was born in '58 and I've always read that I am at the end of the Boomer gen. as well as my two younger siblings born in '60 and '61.

I have never heard I am gen X.

I'm so confused! Not

I rarely think about life in terms of it and referencing "generations" seems a handy tool for certain discussions, but it is better to focus on particulars of an era and individuals rather than painting with broad brushes.

I was born in '60. We're not quite Boomers and we're not quite Gen-X. We're something entirely else, wedged as we are between two highly narcissistic generations.

Yep, we're Wedgies.
