Yes --- I didn't read the article that carefully --- I can't see for the life of me who could have signed for the minor --- an older sister could possibly pass herself off as the guardian --- but the sister of the man who impregnated the girl? Most likely it was the money --- the rapist didn't want to pay child support or be caught for the statutory rape of a child.
