Anyone caught with three or more guns would face the new penalties. If caught with 10 or more guns, defendants would face a mandatory sentence of five to 25 years in prison.

Thereby giving real criminal traffickers a better reason to fight it out and kill more cops rather than surrendering and taking their chances in court.

Pataki wants more cops killed. And honest gun collectors jailed or killed.

Upstate NY Ping!

Please let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from the ping list.

Now, it would never occur to anyone that "when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns", and that the criminals these new laws are aimed at are ALREADY BREAKING THE LAW.

But, I think we all know better. These people know what they are doing. These are cold, calculated moves by our elected politicians to disarm the populace, and these dangerous sociopaths must be stopped before their reign of tyranny becomes too much to defeat.

please let me know if you see any special vans or black helicopters around my house LOL :-)

"This legislation would save lives by taking these dangerous weapons off our streets, and also protect our law-enforcement officials who risk their lives to stop gun traffickers," Pataki said in the statement.

All evidence to the contrary you freakin' RINO.

How many cops were killed stopping gun traffickers in Idaho, you liar?! Probably none - and there are a lot more guns there being "trafficked."

Pataki is a McCain Republican. RINO on the outside, traitor on the inside.

Maybe if Pataki passes an anti-terror law the terrorists will go away.

Right! And if we pass an anti-idiot law, Pataki will go away.

If only it was that easy.
