i just checked CNN and they are stating that she was a "one-time" congressional aid, ignoring that she was 1) a democrat and 2)that she worked for no less than four democratic officials. It may be true that she wasn't considered an aid when she was a political publicist but of course this is parsing the reality of her involvement with Dems.

And the fact that these political hacks are essentially saying they didn't know her or know her well stretches reality.
