Sure, there would be a segment of far-left anti-war types who would hate having McCain as the Democratic VP candidate. But they'd be swamped by the millions of middle-of-the-road swing voters who would love such a fusion ticket. And most liberal Democrats would swallow hard and support Kerry/McCain, if it meant increasing their odds of beating Bush.
I think this remains a very serious possibility, and I think it represents Kerry's best shot at winning in November. Since becoming President is the only thing Kerry really cares about, he may well choose to go this route.
Nor I, but this seems to be a semi-orchestrated campaign among the young and uninformed. I posted it as much for amusement value as for its newsworthiness.
