This smells like Al-Quaeda. ETA has denied responsibility(they don't do that when they do it), and I don't think ETA has ever tried for such mass death.

and I don't think ETA has ever tried for such mass death. The usual ETA pattern is to warn in advance about bombs so as to minimize the civilian casualties.

I don't think it matters on wit whether this is the work of Al Qaeda or any other TERRORSIT group. The fact is WE ARE AT WAR WITH TERRORISTS!! Sooner the WORLD gets that in their HEADS the better. GW knows it, however the press/media will attempt to water down this event as though somehow this attack on SPAIN was not as IMPORTANT unless it was an Al Qaeda operation.

This isn't an ETA trademark. They usually go after government or "Capitalist" targets, not the general Spanish populus.

I agree. This is not ETA's m.o. ETA has never intentionally targeted innocents; it almost always went in for attacking governmental facilities and select politicians or authority figures. Islamist terrorists, though, have this type of attack as their stock and trade. Islamist terrorists intentionally target soft targets such as innocent civilians, women and children, crowded places, etc. Maybe this will wake Europe up, especially France, Germany, and Belgium.
