Here we have the liberation of Iraq, no more Evil Dictator; the citizens of this sandbox will actually have a voice and a vote in the near future. They will determine their elected officials who will take their place as founding fathers of the New Iraq and create a complete constitution with new freedom for the Iraq people. But there is no celebration from the media elites in America, why?

Eric Hogue and his morning show on KTKZ (you can listen online 5-9 am, M-F) is one of the VERY few things good about Sacramento. (The other is the church I attend.) The recall had its start on his show.
He makes at least two excellent points in this essay.
But don't tell anyone out of the state! He needs to stay here as long as I do! *Then* he can leave! (c8

There is a parallel between the Iraq situation and the Gibson movie:
In the (small) minds of the liberals
Pre Iraq = We can't win. Campaign = amazing speed, low losses, impressed world. Post Iraq = We shouldn't have gone there, we have failed, we shouldn't meddle. |
Pre Gibson = The movie will bomb. The Debut = records set, the public in awe, greatest biblical movie ever made. Post Debut = inaccurate, poor acting, he shouldn't have gone there, he shouldn't meddle in Jewish history. |
Of course the liberals were wrong in the beginning, were drowned out by the successes, and continue to whine, bed-wet, and revise history after the successes.
