030814-N-2385R-003 Central Command Area of Responsibility (Aug. 14, 2003) – The nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) approaches USS Bridge (AOE-10), background, to begin a vertical replenishment (VERTREP). Bridge will decommission during the next several weeks and become a part of the Military Sealift Command as the USNS Bridge.
