I hope somebody shows Antonin Scalia this thread when the issue comes up (again) in the Supreme Court. I think he could use some of this biting (no pun intended) humor in his dissenting opinion:^)
Cordially,

Really, somebody needs to have the guts to show them just how rediculous it is to re-define marriage, and in all fairness, as they state, you can't discriminate - go for it! Please, please, please!!And in all their fairyness????? Is that what you meant?
To: jolie560
Too bad it wasn't an uncle, you could have his breasts done, marry him and have his way with him and have him committed when he slips.

I want to marry myself. If you marry yourself, do each of you get to claim the other one as a dependent. Suddenly - one personal exemption becomes four!!!

Homosexual Agenda Ping - some humor (I don't know about you, but I need it!) and reasonable arguments. I want to know why no one in SF is showing up for a marriage license with family members and so on.
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

Since Lockyer doesnt enforce state law, Im not quite sure what his job is.Here he has me smiling.
But if youre a conservative Catholic woman living in the San Francisco area who might want to marry me and my grandmother, Id certainly love to hear from you. The three of us could live a wonderful life together. And hey, if youve got a hot friend, maybe shed like to marry us too.
The first time I read this, I laughed out loud, which rarely happens to me. The second time I read it, in order to copy and paste it, I laughed out loud AGAIN. I'm sure he'll be deluged with offers from conservative, Catholic polygamist ladies from the Bay Area.

Thank you. Now I can come out of Grandma's closet. We could call our cause "Generasexuals" or "same lineage marriages".
Hey, then maybe we could get most of the sitcoms to feature a "grandmother/grandson" relationship! We could even have reality shows that give recreational ideas.
I mean, why would we want to draw moral lines in our relativistic society. Me and grandma aren't going to hurt anyone!

I want to marry myself. Better get a prenuptual agreement. If the relationship goes sour, there is no telling what you might do to yourself! You might love yourself now, but the relationship might get ugly and you could take yourself for all you're worth . . .
