[history]
Clinton LeSueur trounced his opponents Tuesday in the 2nd Congressional District Republican primary, leaving him now to decide what campaign strategy to use against Democratic incumbent Bennie Thompson in the fall.
State Rep. Mike Lott of Petal also easily won his Republican primary in the 4th Congressional District, and now will prepare to take on U.S. Rep. Gene Taylor, a Democrat who has served since 1989.

Clinton can do it! He was outspent 7:1 last time. That won't happen this time. I honestly believe Clinton can defeat Bennie Thompson. I almost want to move down to Tunica County just so I can vote for Clinton. Let's all log on to Clinton's website and show him some support with our checkbooks.

Besides prayer, we need to actively support LeSueur --- money, yard signs, bumper stickers, fund-raisers, "volunteer time" at his campaign headquarters, etc.

Thanks for the ping. I have been out of town and would have missed this. I just email Clinton and wished him well and will contribute to his campaign and I am not even in his district!!!! He may be part of the future of a growing Mississippi....
