I heard a clip of Kerry comparing gay rights with civil rights. According to Kerry: Matthew Shepard was killed because he was gay and King was drug to death down in Texas because he was gay.

However, the guy who was drug to death in Texas was named Bird. Bird was black not gay. King (I believe) was one of the men who killed him.

At that same Church kerry also said he was "ANNOINTED BY GOD TO BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT."
