Kerry's strategy is to claim Bush has sinned, even though it's just made up. Anyone can be the Kerry speech writer. Watch me:
"Already they've begun to throw personal smears at me."
"The campaign has barely begun and already I've been personally attacked."
"I knew the other side would get nasty, and look what they're doing."
"I'm on the high road, but look where they're taking this campaign."
It's all about setting a tone. Doesn't matter if there's a grain of truth to any of it. No specifics. Keep it real general so there's room to wiggle out if challenged.
Come to think of it, Kerry doesn't need a speech writer, just a random sentence generator..

While Kerry hurls his smears at Bush he cries out in righteous indignation that the vast right wing conspiracy is trying to derail his campaign by bringing up his past.
