Douglas Brinkley also happens to be a proud journalist/writer of the leftist elitist variety. He was a strong supporter of Clinton during impeachment.
No surprise there
I'm sure the rest of the Kerry crew, that he has been able to contact, have been well indoctrinated.
This fellow who came forward may NOT have been so able to be found or bought off as easily.
Could be the other guys were in on the deal from the beginnning and liked to be duty-shirkers. Lt. kerry was "taking care of them".... keeping them out of danger, so to speak. They could be just as cowardly as I believe kerry to be.
Maybe kerry thought the guy was dead.... or wished he was.
I think this guy is believable... he may have been a little afraid to come forward before now.... could be they did know where he was and he had been threatened. Perhaps the thought of this country under "damien" kerry finally got to him.
Or I would check to see if any of their children got unusual scholarships, were hired in government positions, received government contracts, etc. etc.
After all, as Brinkley says, "No two men remember combat exactly the same way so Kerry has been extremely lucky that 9 out of his 10 crewmen have almost identical stories about his valor during various firefights and skirmishes."
Mr. Brinkley says they are "gushing" and maintain he has the attributes of a "born leader."
You know, I think Mr. Brinkley has a little bit of doubt, although he isn't voicing it. I think it interesting that Mr. Gardner has finally come forward. I bet that Kerry couldn't find him either, and hoped the guy was dead.
I still think the others were paid off.
