How? They claimed that half the world already demonstrate the LEADERSHIP!
"The continued use of the death penalty -- which is known to be arbitrary, riddled with error and biased ..." If there was ever a confirmed error, believe me, the media would have made that executed person's name more famous then George Washington. As for bias, proportionly (per a post of the Justice Department stats on this web site a few weeks back I believe), more whites have been executed and/or sentenced to death over last 12 years then Blacks.

well, actually, we ARE demonstrating leadership, by showing the world that "yes, Virginia, there are some people who are so bad that killing them as penalty for their crimes leaves the world no poorer."
now, if only the world would be so wise as to follow...
