I think that's a much more important question than you may have realized when you typed it. Personally I do not think the Democrats will actually emerge from the convention with Kerry as the nominee. It will be too obvious that that is a sure-fire losing idea. Which opens doors for you-know-who.

Or leaves the way clear for '08. I keep telling Dems I know that, leaving aside the fact that he's the best man for the job, they can only get the party back by voting Republican this election. Hopefully, if the Dems get creamed again, someone will get the guts to show the Toons the door.
