"Phil kept him on the line, hoping to be able to gather enough info to help the RCMP find him."
Why? Does the prime minister want to offer him a cabinet position?

Ummmm.... you know that Phil Hendrie is famous for having idiot "guests" on his show that are not real people at all, don't you?
Hendrie does the voices for himself and his guest, and takes calls from suckers who don't realize it's all a sham. To the vast majority of listeners (who are in on the joke), it's hilarious.

I guarantee you that after Dubya is re-elected, there will be a fair amount of this sort of thing in the U.S. Some of the lefties are going to go stark raving mad.

That show is all fake. It's terribly unentertaining.

Was this a spoof call like Phil regularly does or the real thing?

I believe you Doug.
A radio host would be putting his job on the line by threatening a sitting president. It's against the law.
I'll bet the Feds have already been to visit him.

Phil, a Democrat, is doing a great job of defending the president. He is voting Republican for the first time in his life.
