Yes. They are that stupid and that selfish. People who do not finance the government are voting to take money away from people who do finance the government. They do not see that they are destroying the cow that givs them their milk.

The founders had it right to begin with. If you do not own property (or pay federal income taxes) you should not have a right to vote.

It is now impossible to win an election without promising to give more money to the voters (social security, etc..)
