Kerry is trying to hide something. Whether it's his military record, meaning his Silver Star and who submitted him for it, or his postwar FBI files, he's trying to keep something under wraps. He and his party goaded Bush into disclosing his military record, and I think it's only fair that Kerry disclose his, including his awards and, while he's at it, how about those FBI files.

I'll tell you what I think he is hiding, His drug use in Viet Nam. Lets see his records. Drugs were readily available in Viet nam ,also readily with the peace marchers he associated with on return, Zumwalt said Kerry was like a madman on his boat dashing this way and that, Zumwalt said he thought he might have to put a straitjacket on the man,Pretty unusual for Lieut> JG to come to the specific notice of the Admiral, wounded 3 times and two decorations in 3 months , he was either crazy or drugged up. I am betting on drugs.

...his Silver Star and who submitted him for it

IIRC, the exploit that got him his SS was not witnessed by a superior officer. Therefore, he must have put himself in for the award. If he was the only commissioned officer to witness the event, only he could have written the citation.

Convenient, no?

BTW, I think the citations for Kerry's medals were posted here recently. Anyone care to re-post them on this thread?
