I heard on Tony Snow this morning that a new poll shows that Americans rank National Security the #1 issue. If this is true (and I heard this correctly), then this is backfiring hard on the Dems.

It should be and I really hope it is. Everytime I hear poll numbers, they say it ranks like 3rd or something. I've heard Dick Morris and not sure who else. I wonder what polls are being used? They are probably polling only democrats....... If that's the case, I could see it being way down in the polls to rats.

This is a couple days before the "surprise" landslide Republican victories! Give me a pundit who saw 2002 coming, and I'll listen to him in 2004. All the pundits wringing their hands today were wringing their hands in 2002 too. Bush runs circles around them politically.
