Don't be too surprised. During the 2000 elections when "W" was declared the winner, not sure which time but it was in the wee hours of the morning, Rita, unaware she was still on camera, just about broke into tears saying "You mean WE lost???!!!??.
She is so transparent, I almost always tune her out.
