I called the Times twice yesterday to complain and could tell they were back on their heels. After denying it was true, I sent a link of the article to the guy and he said he would look into it.

Someone took the post that had all the information down, anyone know why? I thought it was effective!

I sent an email to NBC but I doubt it will do any good with that bunch. They're agenda is clear and it's not to get the truth out.

It's the Media who are running for president. Kerry is just a figurehead. It could be the town dogcatcher..anyone at random from the phonebook, it would not matter.

A local conservative radio host, Charlie Sykes, WTMJ 620 Milwaukee, just said that he will be discussing the Heinz foundation links to the Peace for Tomorrow group.
I am not sure what time, but it seems deads investigation is going to be getting some air time.
Lets hope that Brit mentions it tonight on Special Report.
Here is a link to Charlie Sykes, he is on until 12:00 CST.

Good idea Doug.

A word of advice, as someone who works with the media all the time your letter will get more attention if you don't come out blasting as a proud conservative.

I worte mine as though I too was liberal newsroom type:

NBC Producers/Editors:

I'm sure it was not intentional, however the ongoing controversy over
the Bush campaign's recent ads depicting the 9/11 disaster is now
becoming a powerful issue for those on the the Right.

Apparently the group Peaceful Tomorrows has received substantial
endowments from Teresa Heinz. How could the media have missed this
fact? Lapses such as this one continue to propagate the thinking
among the public that our mainstream media is biased toward Democratic
causes.

Admit it, you messed up and so did everyone else. Why not take a few
minutes to break the story open and admit you were deceived? Let's
put this controversy behind us so we can get back to proper coverage
of the campaign and avoid all these side distractions.

A few more "supporters":

A news conference Friday by Peaceful Tomorrows, a group of victims' relatives, was arranged by MoveOn.org, a Berkeley-based group that has been running ads critical of Bush. The relatives questioned the use of the images for political gain.

``When we heard they were upset about these ads, we thought their concerns should be heard,'' said Peter Schurman, executive director of MoveOn. ``These are families of people who died. They are upset that people who were killed in these attacks are having their images used for political purposes.''

I won't mention his name, but I just spoke with a major reporter from the Wall Street Journal who returned my call. He was unaware of the money ties. I have a feeling that when the fit hits the shan, this story will finally be reported. Okay, how many calls have the rest of you made?

I had called all the media and local stations on Saturday .I called the Pittsburgh post gazette also and had a few words with a reporter.Sunday mornings front page headline was right attacks Heinz, the article simply said the right is attacking unfairly because of her generosity to worthwhile organizations. Isn't that utterly disgusting! This was front page news!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mornin' to ya, Doug..FYI..there'sa thread hear someplace about how this whole thiung is blowing up in the Dems face...the ads were a small buy, running in a few states..cost the GOP maybe a few hundred $K..now, they're all over the national media...the equivalent of a multimillion publicity campaign....many Dems think they should stop talking about it..

Contacting the MSM about their bias is useless
They do not care about your opinion since they believe themselves smarter and are out to ISSUE you a opinion
Contact their advertisers and tell them that you will boycott
their products/services unless they manage to force the MSM into honesty

Be nice, but Paul Fahri at the WASHINGTON POST might like to hear from you. He called "Peaceful Tomorrows" a non-partisan group.

202.334.6000

I asked for national news desk and they then transferred me to him. The operator can probably do that directly for you.
