To: I got the rope
Thanx, that wasn't so painful was it? Look to the corps to make the most sense from a defense standpoint. My son says he doesn't remember this being covered in Boot Camp six years ago, but that no one in his platoon would have done any demonstrating for fear of group pressure and because they took the marine values seriously. After that he was guarding embassies from locals and not US demonstrations.

Here's some info I found. About 15,000 of the american communist party served in world war II. Some in OSS. By the fifties membership in ove 400 organizations considered sunversive was prohibited to members of the armed services. The list has dwindled down because many of the organizations evaporated.

The point on this coast guard guy is convincing the service that ANSWER is in that category. I have asked for info, but no one has provided it.

MARCH 20, 2004

GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION BRING THE TROOPS HOME NOW! END COLONIAL OCCUPATION from IRAQ to PALESTINE and EVERYWHERE

Who ANSWER is really doesn't matter. All of the other anti-Americans marching really doesn't matter. An active member of the military is not allowed to be demonstrating against his country or openly supporting demonstrations against the country. I learned that during my first two weeks of basic training at Ft. Campbell in 1969. I must say that perhaps some didn't get it. All I can say is that they were stupid.

The senior chief with whom I spoke this morning was amazed that anyone could be as stupid as Jameel Rashid to openly support a march like this. ANSWER didn't matter to him. Poor Jameel is going to be getting a surprise soon.
