I would have expected nailguns to fire from the open bolt; guess not. Since I wouldn't rely upon such behavior, it probably doesn't really matter but if they do fire from the closed bolt it's probably a good thing to know.

One of my cousin's son shot himself in the stomach with a nail gun TWICE!! He is also not the brightest bulb on the tree in addition to not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, etc.
He's been in prision a couple times mostly for drinkin', drivin' and taking drugs. One of his brothers is about the same. He's a hardcore inmate now. The third brother is an engineer with a masters degree and never been in trouble. Go figure? My cousin was obviously not mother of the year.
