It would be nice to see President Bush and his spokespeople set the record straight and take the press and their Demonratic allies to task for their attempts to make it sound as if our country is to hell in a handbasket. Bush has to set the record straight and slam those who continually lie about the state of things. Also, our deficit is not the largest it's ever been. And he and the GOP need to point that out REPEATEDLY.

Remember the 2000 debates with Algore making up a visit to Texas-- Bush just stood there and "took him at his word".  Call it 'new-tone' or 'slow with a come-back', but setting records straight just not GW's style.

 Here we have more people are working now than ever before, and they're making better wages than ever before, and the Bush-bashers for Kerry and Buchanan are getting away with making up numbers.  Wait a second, maybe we can play that game too:

With the Democrats NOBODY had a job and now EVERYONE HAS TEN JOBS!!

That's strange, when I do it I feel like an idiot.
