"Shouldn't that tell you something?"
Well for one thing it makes me wonder about some of the more Libertarian elements here and if they care about this country at all or if they would be happier doping it up in Amsterdamn.
"That's not our decision to make....it's Clear Channel's and it's Viacom's decision. Giving this type of power to our government is dangerous. "
So you are arguing that Clear Channel's decision to (thank God) remove Howard Stern had nothing to with the FCC's decision increase the fines for obscenity ten-fold? If that is, in fact, your argument I have to point out it is contrary to the facts. Clear Channel's decision was in direct response to political pressure from the good guys.
Viacom's removal of Howard Stern (which will be within the next month) will be due to the same.
If you oppose the FCC action maybe YOU belong on DU.
"As far as your other questions....what do they have to do with this Howard Stern issue?"
Nothing, except for a periphery way to assess whether nor not I am speaking to someone who is a RINO. Furthermore, dead's attack on me was the direct result of me calling for the fining of networks who air the illegal moveon.org commericals.
I'll ask the same question of you:
Do you believe that MoveOn.org is a criminal organization who has illegaly bought time on television networks in order to illegaly influence the 2004 presidential election?

If you're so unhappy here on FR, then perhaps you should find a place where everyone thinks and acts like you. A place where no one is free to make decisions for themselves. A place where the government tells you what to read, hear, and think. Iran would be perfect for you.....nope wait, the majority of the people of Iran want the very freedom that you feel should be taken away from us.
