Hey, I never listen to Stern, so he doesn't effect me. Right?

WRONG - Your argument is exactly like that of the Libertarian who suggests his drug use doesn't effect anyone else. "Hey...if you don't want to use drugs, then don't use them." This is fallacious. Cocaine, Marijuana and Meth all leave a trail of blood behind them. For every 10 lines you snort there is a murder. By participating in drug market you enable violence, murder and the destruction of people (especially children) with a propensity toward drug addiction. It is the role of the government to create and enforce laws to prevent this kind of "personal choice" that destroys our social fabric. The same can be said for abortion. "If you don't believe in abortion, don't have one." Right? Abortion is fundementally immoral and breaks down our social values by blurring the line where "murder" becomes wrong.

Government has a duty to legislate and enforce morality or you end up like Holland. Do you think Holland is some sort of utopia? Then why don't you move there?

"Government has a duty to legislate and enforce morality or you end up like Holland." Where in the United States Constitution do you find Government's duty to legislate morality. You want Government to define morality? Really? So when the Government is run by Democrats, the moral standard will prohibit the "hate speech" of Rush and conservative radio. Hitler and Stalin would applaud you belief that Government should censor radio.
The hypocrisy of the false conservatives is that they want the government to regulate speech when it offends them, however will cry for limited government when those who agree with them are censored. How about individual responsibility instead of government intrusion?
