The Washington Post: "When President Bush headed west Wednesday to raise more than $2 million for his re-election, his campaign enjoyed one of the greatest bargains in American politics: all-day use of Air Force One for the price of a few first-class air fares. Although the trip had an explicitly political purpose, taxpayers will pick up most of the expenses, as they did for President Clinton and his predecessors."
They mention Clinton now, but did they mention this perk in such ominous tones during his 1996 reelection campaign? Did they talk about how he was "getting a deal" on Air Force One when he and later Hillary used it to campaign and raise money? Nooooo. And, by the way, Clinton was taking Air Force One to parties. This is no different than it is for any sitting president running for reelection, yet somehow the Washington Post only points it out when a Republican is seeking a second term.

Or when Bubba brought over
500 of his best friends to Africa?
Where were all the breathless stories about urban homeless when Bill Clinton was in office?

Or how about the Korea trip?
To: gaijin
You silly! There are only homeless when a Republican is in office. Refer to your handbook.

Maybe I'm confusing the trips, gee, ya think it *might* be possible? But, what was the trip where Chelsea and Mrs. i42 were photographed with in straw hats?
To: Indy Pendance
No, you're right, that was NORTH Korea. The mind boggles.

I remember when Bubba went to CA once. Didn't he have a $2000 haircut on the LA tarmac at our expense and tie up air traffic for 2 hours at our expense?

Maybe you forgot about Al Gore jetting over to Japan to sign the Kyoto accord on clean air. You can't make this stuff up.

Yeah, and Bubba took over 1000 of his pals on his Red China Homage Tour.
You've got to laugh at the excessive preening and vamping the mainstream press is doing disgustingly for free for the democrat party. Have they no pride? What a bunch of cheap whores willing to do anything for the DNC Schlockmeisters.
All I can say is keep it up, the majority of the American people aren't that impressed or satisfied with their cheap performance.
What a bunch of clymer suckers.

I don't recall the press objecting to the Clinton's billion dollar foray to the People's Republic of China to kiss the behinds of the Butcher's of Beijing for their laundered campaign contributions.
To: Kaslin
sorry about that the extra zero got away from me and I didn't catch it on the edit.
