How is it insulting to you, since you were obviously born some 2000 years later.

Everybody expresses sympathy for Gibson when he refuses to denounce his father. Whenever someone asks about Hutton Gibson, he says, "Don't go there."

Well, the Pharisees are my fathers. What gives Mel Gibson the right to tell slanderous stories about my fathers?

I don't know a single antisemitic person, and I've been an evangelical Christian my entire 36 years.

Mel Gibson is not an evangelical Christian.

Yep, blame it all on the Catholics.

So, any story that shows Jews in an unflattering manner is automatically antisemitic.

Fine, have your pity party. I for one will not waste my time trying to convince you because you have decided to become a victim of "hurtful images".

I see no virtue in playing the victim, and refuse to give sympathy to those who do.

Have a nice life. And watch out for the boogyman.

It's in the Bible. Deal with it.

You believe that if some Jew in Jesus's time called himself God he would not have been committing blasphemy ? You also believe there were no penalties for blasphemy ? Would Moses agree with you ? Please discuss.

You are saying the Gospels do not record what happened? You deny Jesus of Nazareth was scourged and crucified at the hands of the Romans, at the behest of the high priests?

Because they in fact perceived a threat from Jesus to their authority and that is recorded in the Bible does not anti-semitics make of believers in the divinity of Jesus Christ.

Big difference from what you pose about Gibson's father.
