Sorry to disagree. Club for growth is an excellent one which works with elected officials in the "genteel" political system. I am talking about ACTIVISM. Think NOW, NAACP, Sierra Club, Move ON, PETA, RainboW PUSH, Green Peace, PFLAG, on and on. I am not saying we conservatives should become insane in ou actions, but these liberal groups are POWERFUL and they did it little by little, inch by inch. WITH WITH WITH WITH WITH funding from rich liberals. How many FReepers pay even a dollar? We talk about the rats refusing to acknowledge reality, well IMHO we must engage in some serious introspection as well... Then make the needed changes.

Furthermore, I can name very few conservative political actions groups. SAS, TRT, FR, ... none of these have the national standing and none have had any deep pockets step forward. Why in the h*ll isn't JimRob innundated with offers of cash? Look at this forum and what he has accomplished. Why has NO wealthy conservative stepped up to help expand it even more? FRN, the action/education arm of FR is doing amzing things... through the volunteer work of a few people and the cash of one. (Who is NOT a "deep pocket.) Again, we got where we are by doing what we did. Want to change it? Then we STOP offering the same answers.
