I don't know that conservatives aren't willing to protest. I have personally organized dozens of rallies. In fact, I'll be speaking at the rally to counter the Million Moms March on Mother's Day.
I think that conservatives find other ways to accomplish their goals and it doesn't always make the media. Doesn't mean we aren't effective, though, or that we don't make gains. It also sorta depends on what your definition of a victory is. Sometimes even incremental victories can make a huge difference in the overall battle. You just have to keep your eye on the ball.
Look for those organizations that don't just talk about doing things, but actually do them. Words are plentiful in the battle -- we need more trench warriors with to-do lists.

Great advice and I'll follow it. Thanks!

Also I've noticed that the media doesn't give much coverage to conservative marches and when they do, they underestimate counts of the crowds. I came upon a pro life rally and there must have been at least 1000 there, but the next day I picked up a hotel newspaper which reported a small crowd of about 200.
