Not really a partisan question. If you view each of the attacks on our soldiers as a terrorist incident- obviously terrorism has increased. I don't think it's a negative statement to say 'terrorism has increased' per se. It is a fairly obvious and logical consequence to the fact that we are fighting terrorists.

I think they meant to say, "Has Terrorism increased in this country and other countries", not the war itself.
