They are trying to define the debate.

The proper response is to increase the 9/11 ads ten-fold and return the debate to terrorists and not gobbly-gook.

What boggles my mind is that the news media, in their zeal to defeat President Bush, seem to not care about the US in general. Do they not realize that the muslims do not care who they kill in America? Do they not understand that this war we are in is one to the death - of America as intended by the muslims? Kerry is profoundly unfit to be CIC of the US armed forces, he is profoundly unfit to make decisions about America's future, he has no discernible set of values that he applies consistently to public discourse as far as I can read him.

The behavior of the "mainstream" media - that also can be characterized as a direct mouthpiece for the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Party - is immoral, bordering on treasonous. Americans here need to get this message out, that this election is a referendum on our future, and that of our children and grandchildren, not only in the national defense and foreign policy arenas, but also in the cultural war that is raging and threatens to consume us all.

Sure seems like it. In terms of any single other issue - deficit spending, for just one example, 9/11 didn't happen.
After nearly 80 years of more or less continual defacto control over the reins of government - House, Senate and White House - the liberal democrats are now fiscal conservatives, too. Even though the financial nerve center of both the world and the country was completely obliterated (equivalent to the CPU in a computer, say) liberal democrats insist we treat this as a law enforcement issue and toe the line when it comes to defense spending.

I suspect a great number of people in this country have absolutely no concept of reality, the social engineers have done their work well.
