I don't consider what Krauthammer wrote "senseless babble." It's his opinion, and the opinion of many other well-meaning people.

Is it true that you haven't seen the film?
If so, how can you formulate an opinion about Krauthammer's opinion of that film?

It's just a movie, GSC. Throwing conservative writers overboard because you disagree with them about a movie is just silly.

Some movies are more than just movies, they are cultural events.

Today, I've definitely gotten tired and bored with our gasbags. What do they really do for us, anyway? If they fail to inform and entertain, they're no longer earning their keep.

So many have gotten their positions from Mumsy and Dadsy--like Podhoretz and Goldberg and Kristol. Partisan Review diaper babes. Ivy League, never gotten their hands dirty, urban, never worn a uniform and probably not related to anyone who ever has.

Wasn't Kraut, Pod and Kristol McVainiacs in 2000? How smart can they be, anyway, and why should we keep paying them to blather on?

It's colored mine. I thought of Krauthammer as being a rational objective writter for the most part, now I'm seeing through him. The amen corner doesn't want Passion Plays and Nativity Scenes (and Catholic 'priests')in the public domain. It still is as it was.

I can't source it now, but Mel was irritated that the 'critics' are trying to blame the Holocaust on Christianity. Nothing could be further from the truth, but yet, it's a big part of their arsenal in taking down Catholicism.

Then it was Barrabas or Jesus? Today it's Christians or Islamists? The ADL, has made its choice, with Krauthammer and Safire in tow. So far with the mainstream, they are slipping, hopefully some of the 'damage' done over the last 45 years can be undone. The Passion may be the kickoff point in taking our culture back, to the chagrin of the 'NYT'.
