What movie was too bloody? Surely, NOT "The Passion!" Indeed, "The Passion" was NOT BLOODY ENOUGH!!!

According to Isaiah 52:14, "Just as there were many who were appalled at Him---His appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and His form marred beyond human likeness..."

I had no trouble at all recognizing that the actor who played Jesus was a man.

BTW, to All, Isaiah 53:6 states: "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."

Isaiah 53:10 says: "Yet it was the LORD's will to crush Him and cause Him to suffer, and though the LORD makes His life a guilt offering..."

I asked on an earlier post for someone...ANYONE...to show me where in the above Scripture that JEWS are to "blame" for Jesus' death. So far, no one has been able to do so.

Isaiah is VERY CLEAR that GOD Himself CHOSE to have Jesus pay the price to redeem ALL of us!!!!! It's up to each of us to CHOOSE to accept His GIFT of redemption.

I also don't think Mel had to be so endlessly, repetitively graphic. No single human eye in history ever saw what the camera showed us in this film. Except Christ and even he did not see it like this. But that is not what is being discussed in this thread.

This movie is by it's very nature more graphic than the bible which did NOT come with pictures. All one is ever required to do to understand the passion of Christ is to READ the gospels and meditate on them. Nobody has to make a movie about it. Nobody has to go see a movie about it. And nobody has to like a movie about it.
