[history]
President Bush talks about his record, and Democrats demand that he shut up.
September 11, 2001, marked the worst foreign attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor--the bloodiest ever on the American mainland. It's certainly been the defining event of George W. Bush's Presidency. But according to Democrats and their media echo chamber, it now shouldn't be a campaign issue.

I grant that there is a reason for it. In the meantime however, 9/11 happened. America has sobered up from the drunken cavalierness of the Clinton era.

You are correct Texasforever - Afghanistan was the first imperative, and Iraq was the first step in a bold plan for that entire neighborhood (and it was intended to send a strong signal to certain dictators in north Africa and east Asia, but the news media are doing their best to undermine that).
Bush's plan is as complex and far-reaching as it is bold. Americans get so impatient because foreign policy and defense strategies can't be laid out on the table. It isn't all about Iraq-style invasions. And it can't all be implemented at once.
Patience and a second Bush term are what are needed.

"Gore was a bore, but Kerry is f-ing scary."Coming from an aging cynic, if Gore was a bore Kerry is tenfold the bore Gore was.
Wow that sounded like Dr. Suess.
Kerry is a straw man who could be defeated if people keep their heads rooted in common sense.

He is an heir. Get it? He is not an 'Heir" to anything. His family, they came from South Yemen by the way, disowned him. He is on his own.

But it's been proved that you CAN fool enough of them and have enough fraud committed to have some absolute horror win.American electoral history is rife with with such proof.

OBL is NOT a " princeling " of the House of Saud! Just how ill informed are you; beyond this, I mean.
To: nopardons
And how many people do you think Kerry can really fool for long enough to get them to vote for him in November?

A real issue is our open borders with millions of criminal foreigners swarming across to commit crimes and become social parasites on our social services' gravy train. Load up those cattle cars right? Damn you picked the right movie but wrong name for yourself. Idiot.

You're so immersed in your belief I can't convince you any more than you can convince me. We'll leave it there. But the facts are the facts and the truth is the truth. 15 were SA nationals. OBL is SA. OBL is an heir of the house of saud. You can't change these facts, nor can you deny them.
While you may choose to deny them...I don't.
goodnight

I think the figure is closer to 22%. Throw in another 15% who will vote for the guy with the best chance to take down Bush, and you have my rough estimate of a 37% vote for Kerry in November.
