Kerry wants to avoid any reminders that he's weak on Terror.

My liberal wife says he needs to grow up if he wants to be prez.

And who is this survivors group "9-11 families for a Peaceful Tomorrow"? Sounds like a liberal appeasment cult to me...

"families for a Peaceful Tomorrow"?

How kool! But what about day after tomorrow? How do we tell those nasty old terrorists that we really love them so much that we will bet our lives that they will understand? With understanding, how can there be violence? So goes the mushy think.

Of course, we can always draw that big United Nations mesquito net around our bunks while we sleep.

From thier website:

Peaceful Tomorrows is an advocacy organization founded by family members of September 11th victims who have united to turn our grief into action for peace. Our mission is to seek effective, nonviolent solutions to terrorism

Clueless nincompoops wollowing in self pity.

3000 people died, nearly all of whom were from the liberal NY/NJ/Connecticut area. It is not much of a challenge for the dems to cherry pick the most left-leaning of the survivors and use them for political purposes. Just who, exactly, is exploiting 9-11 now?

When you have so many extended family members of 9/11 victims, it is not hard to dig around and rustle up a few partisan malcontents that you can tutor on how to smear Bush and become MEDIA STARS in the process - - on NATIONAL TEE-VEE!! The rats have apparently been cobbling this group together for some time now in anticipation of Bush "invoking" the terror attacks in his campaign. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if most of these "family members" were not already long-time Democrat activists to begin with.

HOWEVER..... it looks like the Bush campaign was ready for them! I have noticed that there is another group of family members ready, willing, and able to go on the air to defend Bush and his war on terror. And I guarantee that these folks will come off a lot better than the Kerry shills.

Pretty much all of the organized "9/11 families" groups are nothing more than collections of tools for the Left - the 9/11 families who aren't professional left-wing activists are moving on, so they're too busy living their lives to spend all their time whining in the media.

I had completely forgotten, until now, about the group of families of 9/11 victims who in the immediate aftermath of the attacks were calling on the country to turn inward to reflect on what we had done to bring these attacks on - rather than go to war and bring the evildoers to justice.

This group (hopefully they represent a minority opinion) is protesting President Bush for reminding us about the high stakes of this election - because they want Kerry to be elected, end the War on Terror, and lull the country back to sleep.

Interesting personal sidebar - I was talking to my elderly, socialist aunt today, and though she is a dedicated Bush basher and she lives in a part of the country that isn't a prime terrorist target, she was nonetheless deeply disturbed to learn that Kerry thinks the terrorist threat has been exaggerated. This boosted my confidence that maybe people do "get it."

I don't think the ad went far enough. I think it would be fair game to say that should Kerry get elected, we'd invite another 9-11 event.
