This clipping appeared in our snailmail today, at FRN. I believe that someone has reported that the Republican club entry was a joke.
I thought I would put it up for kicks.

I believe that someone has reported that the Republican club entry was a joke. Meaning he wasn't in the Young Republicans (and someone faked the scan) or young Lurch joined as a joke?
To: diotima
Wasn't he the English next door neighbor, on The Jeffersons?

What's with the gaping mouth? Photographers usually don't allow you to pose like that.
Another FReeper said Kerry had a pronounced "underbite." One of my sons has that condition too. Possibly the jaw or chin surgery Kerry's rumored to have had was to correct the underbite.
(So it could be that he just didn't look good with his mouth closed -- much as I can't stand John F'n Kerry, I don't want to make fun of that.).

He was as French looking then as he is French looking now.....
